In terms of industry, Huai’an Economic and Technological Development Zone has created three strategic emerging industries- new energy automobile and parts industry represented by Minth Group, intelligent equipment industry represented by Wolong Electric Motor and life health industry represented by Chengde Medicine, and two pillar industries- IT industry represented by Foxconn and salt chemistry new material industry represented by Taiwan Glass Group. “3+2”industrial structure has been gradually taking shape. We have attracted investors from more than 30 countries and regions, such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The number of the settled companies has reached over 6,000, including over 400 Taiwanese companies, such as Foxconn, Taiwan Glass, Minth Group, Darfon, Thermos and A&J Bicycles. All these leads Huai’an Economic and Technological Development Zone to have become the Taiwanese Enterprise Concentration Highland famous in the north of the Yangtze River as well as the Taiwanese Enterprise Industrial Transfer and Concentration Service Core Area greatly supported by Jiangsu Provincial Government.

In terms of service industry, Huai’an Economic and Technological Development Zone has made its own advantages to create four distinctive sectors, that are e-commerce represented by Huai’an Guandan, a card playing cyber Co., modern logistics represented by Suguo, Pro Logis, Yupei and Xindi, comprehensive business and trade represented by Metro, RT-Mart, Yifeng Times Plaza, Kingboard Plaza, Bode Hardware and Jinxiu International Decoration Mall and cultural tourism represented by “ Journey to the West” theme park.
